Marking a microscope slide for future reference has long been a difficult problem for many microscopists. The field-finder slide from Labtech International is a plastic, disposable slide with a rectangular coordinate grid pattern precisely etched on the surface. With carefully edge ground lines for accuracy and 1200 squares of 1mm x 1mm, each consisting of 16 squares measuring 0.25 x 0.25mm, cells and other small structures can, for the first time be easily mapped and managed. Ideal for general microbiology, oncology and genetics, the field-finder slides also have applications in large optical systems for aero and space photography.
