The C-Chip is a disposable plastic Hemocytometer used for manual cell counting. It consists of two surface-patterned, enclosed chambers with two ports for sample injection. The standard grid pattern for the C-Chip is the Neubauer improved (other grids available). It consists of 9 large squares, each measuring 1mm x 1mm giving a total counting area of 3mm x 3mm. The standard depth of the chamber is 0.1mm (other options available)
The C-Chip addresses the problems of conventional Hemocytometers by eliminating the need for coverslips by means of precisely 100µm high enclosed chambers.
